New Mexico Wrangler Junior High Rodeo

When you hear the word Wrangler you think of integrity, grit, and rodeo. The Wrangler Division of the National High School Rodeo Association is all of those things. This Division was given seed money by Wrangler and charged with the responsibility of growing it into the most successful junior rodeo association in the world. Still in our early years, this association includes 37 states in the U.S. and 4 Canadian provinces. We are supported by outstanding national sponsors who know how important it is to provide our youth with the chance to be competitive student athletes.

The program was designed to reach junior high students during important transitional times in their lives, and to offer them the opportunity to be involved with the positive, family oriented sport of rodeo. It will be a great stepping stone into High School rodeo, as we have designed our junior events to prepare our athletes for the next level of competition. Allowing 6^th, 7^th and 8^th graders to rodeo on a national level and have the opportunity to earn thousands in college scholarships is our goal.
